About Us
Danoom Wellness was founded by Naomi and Dan, a local couple from Aberdare. As avid mountaineers, they discovered that contrast therapy was an invaluable addition to their training when preparing to climb a high-altitude volcano in Ecuador.
Fascinated by the effects they were noticing, they went on to research both contrast therapy and cold water therapy, undertaking a Cold Water Therapy Course.
The only drawback was the considerable distance they had to travel to find a suitable facility. This made it impractical to incorporate contrast therapy into their routine more than once a week. After much thought and numerous discussions with local sportspeople who faced the same dilemma, they decided to establish their own facility in Aberdare.
After a lot of work behind the scenes, a summer 2024 opening was finally in sight!
